in side out
Light and darkness, birth and death, inhale and exhale—how can we accept the inherent poles within us? In Side Out is a puzzle created from the concept of polarity and the idea of its transcendence. With 8 single pieces, it is possible to build a cube that looks like an expanded flower (Cube X) and also to form another cube with the petals twisted inwards (Cube O). Inside each one, it is possible to find the other. Inside Cube X appears the pattern for Cube O, and vice versa. One contains the other. Light contains darkness, but darkness also contains light.
Playing with these reversible concepts while switching the black and white pieces is an exercise for the mind, helping to comprehend the intangible world through play and even joy.
